There are many qualified coaches in Hampshire. Some are based permanently at one club, others work at several clubs or other Squash facilities and a few are freelance coaches not based at any particular club. If you scroll down this page you will find the latest coaching news and a table with a list of active coaches and their contact information and links to e-mail and websites.

Hampshire Squash Coaches Association.

This organisation was formed in 2002 by a small group of Hampshire Squash Coaches, and it is now the backbone of Squash coaching in Hampshire. Endorsed by the HSRA and England Squash, the association provides opportunties for development, sharing of equipment, and exchange of experience and ideas. Membership is free to licensed England Squash coaches, and the HSRA subsidise some of the development programmes. Details of the next meeting and events are shown below.

Coaching Courses.

The popular Universal Squash Camps will again be held at Lee-on-Solent this year. These camps are a great and rare opportunity for juniors to get intensive coaching from Bryan Patterson and other top class Squash coaches.
The Camp Day: 9AM - 5.30P Lunch from 12.30 - 2.15p A tough Camp but one that will definitely improve your squash.

There will be 2 weeks of pre-season training camps at Winchester Squash Club from Monday 17^th to Friday 28 ^th August. They are for all ages and abilities from elite players to beginners. The camps will be run by Alex Gough (World top 20 player for many years). The cost is £120 for 5 days of training. 10-4pm daily. Places are limited and will be decided on 1^st come first served. There is a possibility of attending for individual days at a cost of £30/day. The two weeks will finish with a junior graded open event.
