With our normal No. 1 and No. 2 unable to play on the day, all the girls had to move up two places and played good consistent squash throughout the day. At No. 1 Emily came up against tough competition in all 3 matches but she showed excellent character and kept a positive attitude throughout. Ellie won 2 of her matches and had a close long fought match against Surrey eventually coming out on top by 9/3 in the final game. Catherine got off to a flying start in her first match which she finally lost 1/3 but she went on to win her next 2 matches. Overall the attitude and quality of squash of all 3 girls was excellent and shows great promise for the 2005/6 season.
