Hampshire v Essex I
The team had great success at Dragons Club Essex with Hampshire winning 2 - 1.
Gwen Isaacs of David Lloyd, Port Solent at no 3 beat Sue Cramp 3 - 0.
Jo Kingswell of Winchester at 2 beat Irish International - Barbara Sanderson. Jo won the first 2 games 9 - 0 but Barbara rallied to 8 all in the third. Jo held her nerve to clinch it 10 - 8 for a 3 - 0 win.
First string Roz Hursell of Redrice was left to play England International - Avril Murphy. Roz put up a stirling fight but Avril clinched the match 3 - 0. Oxfordshire had already beaten Essex I and II both 3 - 0.
Hampshire will play Oxfordshire and Essex II at home on Sunday 8th January 2006.
