PAR scoring in Hampshire

Following a discussion at the last England Squash & Racketball council meeting there is an item on PAR scoring on the AGM agenda. To help you form an opinion on this issue I have Click here to see the
              advice note from England Squashattached a document recently received from ESR which makes recommendations for the 2009-10 season.
Following the ESR council meeting I have already circulated Men's Premier league clubs for their views on introducing PAR scoring in the Men's Premier League only in the 2009-10 season.

The current Junior Rep and County Welfare Officer are not seeking re-election and we particularly need to fill these posts, but a reminder that all officer and committee posts are open for any nominations from member clubs. Improve Your Squash at Pre-season Training Camps!

There will be 2 weeks of pre-season training camps at Winchester Squash Club from Monday 17th to Friday 28 th August. They are for all ages and abilities from elite players to beginners. The camps will be run by Alex Gough (World top 20 player for many years). The cost is £120 for 5 days of training. 10-4pm daily. Places are limited and will be decided on 1st come first served. There is a possibility of attending for individual days at a cost of £30/day. The two weeks will finish with a junior graded open event. Some of you may already have contributed to the debate and surveys prior to the England Squash AGM on the 18th of Oct 2008 where a motion was due to be put forward to adopt PAR scoring as the sports sole scoring system. (Does anyone know the outcome please?)
