For a second year Next Communications kindly sponsored the Junior County Closed. The event was held at Winchester Squash Club during the weekend of September 24th - 26th September. |

The standard of play, general behaviour and support was excellent throughout the tournament. Many thanks to everyone involved from the juniors to parents, coaches and markers for helping to ensure the tournament ran well. As well as receiving a tee shirt all the entrants received a pen from Next Communications, so there were no excuses when juniors were asked to mark a match! Mark Finlayson from Next Communications arrived from France to attend the Sunday afternoon, and was in time to see his daughter play. |

89 juniors entered the tournament, 18 travelling from Guernsey to take part. Over the weekend, the County Coaches came to watch the squash, introduce themselves and invite juniors to County training sessions. |
