Summer League 2008

It is time to enter your teams for the 2008 summer league. This is a great sociable league that gives you the chance to play competitive Squash throughout the summer. Each team has 5 players with a minimum of two women players and no premier men players so it doesn't get too serious! Introduction to the 2007 Hampshire SUMMER LEAGUE

On this page you will find league details, contacts,fixtures and a blank score card and as well as the rules for this year’s league. Please contact the opposing captains in your league to confirm all fixtures. Due to 7 teams per league one team will be rested each week.
Due to a large entry of teams the fixtures will last slightly longer than in previous years. The semi-finals will be played on Thursday 6th September 2007. The finals evening will be on Wednesday 12th September 2007. Semi-finals played at Chichester and final match to be played at Cannons. Following the finals evening there will be a presentation to the overall winners, runners-up and the bottom team. This year I’m trying a later date for the semis and final so people can have their holidays before the final.
The draw for the leagues was made on Friday 4th May.
Please note that home teams are expected to provide an after match meal for all visiting teams.
As this is a social league I would recommend that all team captains contact their opposite number before each match and try to field teams of roughly equal strength, hopefully this will prevent there being any one sided matches which are no fun for anybody.
