The Hampshire Junior Leagues consists of 4 divisions with the lowest division a dedicated Mini-Squash league.
Juniors will be placed in a division to suit their ability and each junior will be given a seeding at the start of the season.
Seedings in each division will determine grid allocations on Matchdays, to ensure opponents are of a similar ability.
At each fixture juniors will play a round robin in their grid, best of 3 or 5 games. At the end of each Matchday juniors will be given a finishing position and awarded with the appropriate points for that position.
The Mini Squash players will play more relaxed rules to keep it fun and fair for beginners.

Individual league positions will be determined by the points achieved by each junior (not seedings).
Only the top 4 results will be included in the final total, allowing 2 events to be missed if necessary without penalty.
If a junior finishes above another junior with a higher seeding they will take that seeding. This allows juniors to move up as they improve.
Grid winners will have their seeding increased by an additional 3 positions to allow improving juniors to progress up the divisions more quickly.
There will be some discretion to alter seedings with input from Coaches, Matchday Organisers and the League Organiser. This is to ensure juniors play a variety of opponents of a similar ability across the season.
IMPORTANT - FINAL LEAGUE POSITIONS WILL BE BASED ON POINTS ACHIEVED , NOT ON INDIVIDUAL SEEDINGS. IF POINTS ARE TIED THE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHER SEEDING WILL TAKE THE HIGHER POSITION.
